An Original Vintage Finnish Comic Book (measures 6 3/4" x 9 3/4" [17 x 25 cm]) (Learn More) Korak is a fictional character from the original Tarzan novels written by by Edgar Rice Burroughs, first appearing in "The Son of Tarzan" in 1920. He is the son of Tarzan and Jane Porter. He was kidnapped from his parents when he was young and, by an amazing coincidence, he also was raised by apes in the jungle, just like his father. One would think that this would make him a duplicate of Tarzan, but actually, he had some clear differences, and was a completely separate character in the books. Of course, in the Johnny Weissmuller movies, their son was completely different from the character in the novels. He was called "Boy", and was played by Johnny Sheffield. Artist: Joe Kubert Important Added Info: Note that this comic was printed in Finland in the Dutch language. Please note that we don't use a "comic guide" grading system, and OUR grading scale is completely different from standard comic book grading.
