An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Pressbook (pb; measures 9 1/2" x 14" [24 x 36 cm]; 2 pages) (Learn More) The Net (released in the U.S. as "Project M-7"), the 1953 Anthony Asquith English spy espionage crime airplane aviation thriller ("FASTER THAN SOUND come the sensational thrills in this modern epic of the air......"; "Suspense is airborne in a new British spy thriller!"; "Faster than sound.. No barriers to the jet age!"; about English scientists working on a secret mission to develop a plane that can go three times the speed of sound, which will enable them to potentially take them to the moon; there is an enemy agent working to sabotage the project, and the lead scientist neglects his wife, and she considers straying) starring Phyllis Calvert, James Donald, Robert Beatty, Herbert Lom, and Muriel Pavlow. Note that in 1953, this movie seemed like wild science fiction, but less than a decade later, spaceships were created, and they took men to the moon in another half dozen years after that!
