An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Road to Morocco, the 1942 David Butler North Africa adventure screwball comedy ("Bing, Bob and Dotty hit the road again! It's a Harem-scarem riot of song and laughter!"; "Original screen play by Frank Buttler and Dan Hartman"; the third of the highly successful "Road to..." pictures) starring Bing Crosby, Bob Hope, Dorothy Lamour, Anthony Quinn, Dona Drake, Kermit Maynard (in a bit part), Vladimir Sokoloff, and Mikhail Rasumny NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the top crossfold and paper loss at the other two crossfolds, and some separation and tiny paper loss on parts of the vertical foldline and some extra creases in the horizontal foldlines. There were creases, smudges, tears, and pinholes around the edges of the poster. There was a stain in the background area between Crosby and Lamour and a hole in the yellow background to the left of Lamour's hat. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but the restorer did minimal restoration to the above defects, and they are slightly noticeable (although not distracting). Learn More about condition grades
