Green romantic political screwball comedy ("Hilarity is just around the corner"; "He's the laff of both parties"; about a candidate for governor who is pretty dense, and the party secretary, played by Bette Davis, convinces him to hire a campaign manager who is in jail for nonpayment of alimony, and with help from the campaign manager, the candidate stands a great chance of winning the election) starring Warren William, Bette Davis (very young in this role!), Guy Kibbee, Vivienne Osborne, Frank McHugh, and Sam Hardy NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good to very good. There is a 1" tear with creases in the left of the bottom border, brown stains in William's hand, and a few pinholes around the edges.
