Date Sold 8/14/2014Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Deluxe 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Leatrice Joy was an actress from the 1910s to the 1950s. She was married to actor John Gilbert in the early 1920s, and some of her movies include: Show People, The Ten Commandments, and The Ace of Hearts. She passed away in 1985 at the age of 91. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Leatrice Joy (it was also signed by the photographer)! Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who was a major movie memorabilia dealer from the 1980s on. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both dealers and collectors, and in some of those collections he purchased autographed items, and over the years he did not re-sell any of the autographed items. Now he has gathered up together all of his autographed items and consigned them to us. So all of the items from this consignor we are auctioning were purchased by this dealer from longtime dealers and collectors, and we feel it is quite likely that the autograph on this item is authentic! Condition: good to very good. There are some creases and faint stains around the edges of the still (see our image). Learn More about condition grades
