Cards as Weapons, the 1977 commercial poster featuring cover art from the book (a parody of self-defense books) written by actor and magician, Ricky Jay ("A manual on the art of throwing, scaling, juggling, boomeranging, and manipulating ordinary playing cards to provide a deadly yet inexpensive means of self-defense"; "Available wherever books are sold"; "A Darien House book"). Note that this poster has hilarious art of the author using playing cards to escape a variety of dangerous situations, including a gunfight in a saloon, stopping a charging bull, and even fighting an octopus underwater!
