A 1941 Re-Release Theatrical Folded German Movie Poster (measures 37 1/2" x 54 1/4" [95 x 138 cm]) (Learn More) Der Jager Von Fall (released in the U.S. in 1937 as "The Hunter of Fall"), the 1936 Hans Deppe German action love triangle thriller (about an onoing feud between a poacher and gamekeeper and the woman they both love) starring Paul Richter, Georgia Holl, Betty Sedlmayr, Hans Adalbert Schlettow, Gustl Gstettenbaur (billed as "Stark-Gstettenbaur"), Josef Eicheim, Rolf Pinegger, and Willy Rosner NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that movie paper from this film is incredibly rare. We have never auctioned even a single movie paper item from this movie until we were consigned this poster (which is a "country of origin" poster for this German movie!). Note also that this is a very rare poster from Germany from during World War II. There are very few German movie posters from during World War II in existence (because of the massive paper shortages in Germany during World War II), and most of those few are in museums. It is likely that German posters from during the Nazi era are even more rare than those from before that era, because most of those that survived the war would have been destroyed right after the war! Condition: good to very good. There are tack holes around the edges and the area that was under the tacks has not darkened to the same degree as the rest of the poster. There are light brown stains on the back of the poster which was on the outside when it was fully folded and they slightly affect the front. The poster has some fairly minor fold wear but has otherwise survived in pretty good condition (see our image). Learn More about condition grades
