Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this 1925 first release insert! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The left 1" of the poster was trimmed off. It was only blank white paper, except for the small area in the bottom left, where the bottom bar extended slightly into that area. It also had paper loss in three areas of the bottom blank border and in two areas of the top border. There were tears in the bottom border, extending into the inset circle and the yellow box. There were tears in the top border extending into the top image, with two long tears extending into the top image. There was a 2" tear in the lower right border and some small tears in the rest of the right border. There were stains at the bottom of the "D" of "PARADE" in the title and smudges and scuffs in the yellow area. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, given its defects, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
