An Original 1962 Vintage Theatrical Folded Autographed One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Zarte Haut in Schwarzer Seide (released in the U.S. in 1962 as "Daniella By Night" in a dubbed version, and then released again in the U.S. in 1964 in a subtitled version), the 1961 Max Pecas German/French action crime sexploitation thriller ("Rome and Paris the pleasure centers of the world ...and Daniella who felt at home wherever Sex was in demand!") starring Elke Sommer, Ivan Desney, Danik Patisson, Helmut Schmidt, Rene Dary, Francoise Alban, and Brigitte Banz. Note that, as was common with "foreign" films at this time, this movie was first given a very limited release in "arthouse" cinemas, in a subtitled version. Two years later, it was deemed "commercial" enough that it was given a wider release, but this time in a dubbed version, to make it more accessible to mainstream audiences. We call the material from the dubbed release a "re-release" because it had earlier been released in the U.S. a subtitled version. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
