An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Young America, the 1942 Louis King 4-H Club juvenile melodrama (about the teen daughter of a rich man who grew up in the city, but her father feels she is not learning about the real America, so he sends her to live in the country with her grandmother, and she joins the 4-H Club, and causes problems) starring Jane Withers, Jane Darwell, Lynne Roberts, William Tracy, Robert Cornell, Roman Bohnen, Louise Beavers, and Darryl Hickman. Note that the 4-H Clubs were founded around 1902, and the name comes from their motto ("head, heart, hands, and health"), and they were very popular in rural U.S. communities, especially in the 1920s through 1940s, but there are still millions of participants in 4-H clubs all over the world! There is light rippling and slight discoloration scattered in portions of the poster due to exposure to moisture. It has two small patches of paper loss in Withers' face at upper center and some tears of varying lengths around the edges and small patches of paper loss at lower right and most of those areas are backed by conservation tape.
