Under Two Flags, the 1922 Tod Browning silent French Foreign Legion romantic love triangle adventure melodrama ("The Picture Magnificent"; "From the immortal novel by Ouida"; about an Englishman who joins the French Foreign Legion because he has taken the blame for a crime his brother committed, and he has to contend with a ruthless commanding officer, and he has to choose between a sleazy nightclub singer named "Cigarette" and a refined Englishwoman) starring Priscilla Dean (as Cigarette), James Kirkwood, John Davidson, Stuart Holmes, and Ethel Grey Terry. Note that this movie was remade in 1936 with Ronald Colman and Claudette Colbert in the lead roles.
