An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Voices of the City (also released as "Night Rose"), the 1921 Wallace Worsley silent romantic crime murder melodrama ("Leroy Scott's famous story") starring Lon Chaney Sr., Leatrice Joy, John Bowers, Cullen Landis, and Richard Tucker. Note that this movie originally centered around Lon Chaney's character, who was a hoodlum who tries to steal his bookkeeper's girl, which results in the bookkeeper getting shot. But the censors refused to pass the movie, and it was re-cut in such a way that Chaney's character was reduced to a very minor role! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: good. Both panes of glass have loss in the top left corner, but it is solely in the blank border.
