An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) The Green Pastures, the 1936 Marc Connelly & William Keighley black African American religious fantasy melodrama (depicting a "black heaven", where only black people went after death, as apparently discrimination in 1936 did not end even at the grave; the movie must be seen to be believed!) starring Rex Ingram (as Adam, De Lawd, and Hezdrel), Oscar Polk (as Gabriel), Eddie 'Rochester' Anderson ( as Noah), Myrtle Anderson (as Eve), Al Stokes (as Cain), and Edna Mae Harris (as Zeba) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: very good to fine. card has darkened slightly (typical of Warner Bros. linen cards), but it is in no way fragile; there are tack holes with discoloration circles around them in each corner and a pinhole in the center of the left and right border, but otherwise the card is in excellent condition Learn More about condition grades
