Theaters would order this poster, which had a large blank area for the title of the film being shown. Sometimes the studio would overprint the stock poster with the title of a specific movie, and sometimes they sent a series of large paper snipes with the titles of specific entries of the series, so the theater could paste in each snipe as needed, thus getting many posters for the price of one. Important Added Info: Note that this stock poster was overprinted with the information for How to Marry a Millionaire, the 1953 Jean Negulesco New York City romantic gold digger comedy ("The Most Glamorous Entertainment Of Your Lifetime in CinemaScope, You See it Without Glasses!"; "Based on Plays by Zoe Akins and Dale Eunson and Katherine Albert"; about three beautiful but poor young women who come to New York City and rent a very expensive apartment, intending to each find a millionaire husband before the rent is due!; the movie was the first ever filmed in the new CinemaScope process, although "The Robe" beat it to the screen) starring Marilyn Monroe, Betty Grable, Lauren Bacall, David Wayne, Rory Calhoun, Cameron Mitchell, Alex D'Arcy, Fred Clark, and William Powell.
