A 1948 Re-Release Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Harlem on the Prairie, the 1937 Sam Newfield black African American musical singing cowboy western ("The First Musical Western with ALL COLORED CAST"; "Rootin' - Shootin' - Swing-Swing Entertainment"; "Romance Singing Music Dancing") starring Herb Jeffries (billed as "Herbert Jeffries"), Mantan Moreland, F.E. Miller (Flourney E. Miller), Spencer Williams, The Four Tones, and the Four Blackbirds. Note that Flourney Miller was a major figure in black Broadway musical history, performing and writing with his partner Aubrey Lyles. After Lyles passed away in 1933, Miller appeared in a number of all-black movies in the 1930s and 1940s. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that Toddy Pictures re-released this movie in the late 1940s (likely in 1948), and they produced two different one-sheets for the movie, one featuring Herb Jeffries, and one featuring Mantan Moreland (it is possible that those two one-sheets are from two different Toddy re-releases).
