(Learn More) First Love, the 1939 Henry Koster romantic musical comedy ("Deanna's in love!"; sort of a modernized version of Cinderella, with Durbin as a rich family's poor relation who gets to go to a ball where she meets charming and handsome cousin Robert Stack) starring Deanna Durbin, Helen Parrish, Robert Stack (in his first movie role!), Eugene Pallette, Lewis Howard, June Storey, Leatrice Joy, Marcia Mae Jones, Charles Coleman, and Mary Treen NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this pressbook is completely uncut! It is very unusual to find uncut pressbooks, as they were intended to be cut up by theater owners! Note that pressbooks were prepared prior to a movie being released. Often, changes would be made in a movie advertising campaign (billing of actors, different images, etc.), and the theaters would print up special supplements that they would send out with the pressbooks that had already been printed. These supplements are very rare, far more rare than the pressbooks themselves! Some pressbooks would have no supplements, some would have one, and some would have several. This pressbook comes with a rare supplement that is complete and uncut! Condition: very good. folded in half at one time; tiny tears, separation, minor creases, and scuffs in along the spine; 1/2" tear in the lower left edge of the cover as well as some tiny tears and minor separation along the spine; minor creases and scuffs throughout the pressbook (mostly around the edges) Learn More about condition grades
