An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Mind Reader, the 1933 Roy Del Ruth romantic clairvoyant fantasy crime comedy ("Learn the poisoned past of this man who tells you future!"; about a carnival fortune teller who uses tricks to fool people; he gets married, and quits the racket, but can't make a living, so he tries to return to his old business, only with rich people, and it backfires, and someone is killed!) starring Warren William, Constance Cummings, Allen Jenkins, Don Dillaway, and Natalie Moorhead NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this lobby card is extremely rare. We have only previously auctioned three other lobby cards from this movie, and they all pictured the same scene (one without Warren William), but this one has a different scene that shows the lead actors! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good. There is brown staining in the extreme outer edge of the bottom half of the right blank border, and a lesser amount in the right of the top and bottom blank borders. There is a tiny bit of surface paper loss in the left of the bottom blank border, a very tiny tear in the center of the top blank border, and a few faint smudges in the left blank area. Otherwise, the card is in nice condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! Obviously, any restorer could remove the staining from the edges of the blank borders (likely chemically) without backing the card, but the slight staining will not show if the card is framed.
