Such events include: World War I (WWI), Napoleon Bonaparte in exile on Saint Helena, Joan of Arc on her way to Chinon, and many more Artist: Jacques Onfroy de Breville Important Added Info: Note that we were consigned nine different posters from this series (we don't know how many there were in all). We are auctioning those nine in nine separate auctions. Note that this poster has a tagline of Entrevue Du Camp Du Drap D'or (literally translates to "Meeting at the Field of the Cloth of Gold"). The Field of the Cloth of Gold was a site that hosted a tournament field as part of a summit in 1520 between King Henry VIII of England and King Francis I of France. The summit was arranged to increase the bond of friendship between the two kings following the Anglo-French treaty of 1514. What IS linenbacking?
