A Midsummer Night's Dream, the 1935 William Dieterle & Max Reinhardt romantic fantasy musical comedy ("Dances directed by Nijinska"; "Costumes by Max Ree"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award; loosely based on the classic play by William Shakespeare) starring James Cagney (as Bottom), Joe E. Brown, Dick Powell, Jean Muir, Victor Jory (as Oberon), Verree Teasdale, Hugh Herbert, Anita Louise (as Titania), Frank McHugh, Ross Alexander, Ian Hunter, Mickey Rooney (as Puck), Grant Mitchell, Olivia De Havilland (as Hermia), Hobart Cavanaugh, and Otis Harlan

Important Added Info: Note that we have previously auctioned nine lobby cards from this movie (but six were in terrible condition, and one was in just "good" condition). The other two auctioned for $349 and $142. Now we have been consigned seven of the eight cards in the set, including the title card, which we have NEVER auctioned before, and we are auctioning these seven rare cards in seven separate auctions! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: very good. The card has two tiny pinholes in the top left blank corner and one each in the other three corners. It has a 1/2" tear in the center of the top blank border, with a tiny tear near it. There are two pieces of tape on the back of the left and right of both the top and bottom borders, but they were not put there for any restoration purpose. Otherwise, the card is in nice condition!
