An Original 1987 (from the first release of this movie in Poland) Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Polish Movie Poster (measures 27" x 38 1/2" [69 x 98 cm]) (Learn More) Blue Velvet, the cult classic 1986 David Lynch (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) mystery crime sex-and-drugs thriller ("Written and Directed by David Lynch"; about a young man who begins to investigate a woman accused of murder only to become deeply involved with many deranged characters) starring Kyle MacLachlan, Isabella Rossellini, Dennis Hopper, Laura Dern, Hope Lange, George Dickerson, and Dean Stockwell NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Jan Mlodozeniec Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had some tiny creases and surface paper loss on part of the middle horizontal fold. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Note that the restorer left a tiny bit of excess linen around all four sides of the poster (they left a small border in order to protect the poster from handling damage, but they did not leave a larger border, to allow it to more easily fit in a frame).
