An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Sailor's Lady, the 1940 Allan Dwan Navy Naval sailor seafaring romantic screwball comedy ("Original story by Frank Wead"; about a sailor who plans to marry his girlfriend when he returns from service, but she becomes a foster mother to an orphaned baby, and she visits her boyfriend on a ship, and leaves the baby behind!) starring Nancy Kelly, Jon Hall, Joan Davis, Dana Andrews, Mary Nash, Buster Crabbe ( billed here as "Larry Crabbe"), Kay Aldridge (billed as "Katharine Aldridge"), Harry Shannon, Wally Vernon, and Bruce Hampton (the baby, who was billed as "Skipper") NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. The poster had a 7" semi-circular tear running from the girl's cheek across the man's eyebrow, and ending at the bottom of his hat. There was tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and a small area of paper loss in the girl's cheek and some minor wear along the foldlines. There were pinholes, creases, tears, and areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
