An Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 10" x 13" [25 x 33 cm] Stage Play Still (Learn More) Ann Sothern (born Harriette Arlene Lake) was an actress from the 1920s to the 1980s. She had small uncredited showgirl-like parts from 1927 to 1933, and then she started getting much better roles, and she was a leading lady in the 1930s, and stayed a top star through the 1950s. Some of her movies include: A Letter to Three Wives, Footlight Parade, The Best Man, The Whales Of August (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), and scores of others, and she is also well remembered from the "Private Secretary" and "The Ann Sothern Show" TV series in the 1950s. She passed away in 2001 at the age of 92. Important Added Info: Note that this great deluxe Broadway stage play still, which measures 10" x 13" [25 x 33 cm] is from the very beginning of Ann Sothern's career, when she was still billed under the name she was born with.
