An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Robin and the Seven Hoods, the 1964 Gordon Douglas Chicago Illinois singing-and-dancing musical gangster crime comedy spoof ("Robin and the 7 Hoods - or Who Maid Marian?"; "Like we've taken the Robin Hood legend and changed the bows and arrows to machine guns...! Like with songs yet!.. Like Wild!"; "Like we've taken the Robin Hood legend and set it in Chicago's wildest era!.. Like with songs yet!.. Like Wow!"; "...and the wild idea of doing the Robin Hood legend in Chicago's wildest era... With songs yet!"; "In merrie olde Chicago, in the days when King Al ruled the land...!") starring the Rat Pack (Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr.), Peter Falk, Barbara Rush, Victor Buono, Bing Crosby ("as Allen A. Dale"), and Hank Henry NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still appears in every way to be original U.S. release EXCEPT that there is one very tiny line of French type in the lower right. It reads, "IMPRIME AUX ETATS-UNIS D'AMERIQUE". A collector has told us that he believes this means the still was printed for use in areas that included French-speaking parts of Canada, but that it WAS printed in the U.S., and that makes complete sense to us (and we have seen this on stills from the 1940s through the early 2000s, so it has certainly been done for an extremely long time)! So it is an original still from 1964, but it was printed partially for use in French-speaking Canada. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: very good to fine. There is a pair of staple holes at top center, but the still is otherwise in nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
