An Original Vintage Theatrical Half-Sheet Movie Poster (1/2sh; measures 22" x 28") (Learn More) Alfred Hitchcock's Dial M For Murder, the classic 1954 Alfred Hitchcock 3-D (3D; 3-Dimension) romantic love triangle crime murder mystery detective suspense thriller ("...is that you, darling?"; "Written by Frederick Knott who wrote the International Stage Success"; "If a woman answers... hang on for dear life!"; "Is this the man she was waiting for... or the man who was waiting for her?"; "Perfect 3 Dimension in the Hitchcock manner!") starring Ray Milland, Grace Kelly, Robert Cummings (Bob Cummings), John Williams, and Anthony Dawson. Note that, although this movie was filmed in 3-D, none of the original posters mention it at all (there is an explanation in the pressbook that because they know many theaters will not show it in 3-D, "the ads have been designed so that the 3D copy may be eliminated" [and obviously, this is why they did not put 3-D on the posters]). Important Added Info: Note that this poster will need to be sent in a very large flat package (because it is dry-mounted on a board, it could not possibly be rolled) that measures approximately 24" x 30" x 1" high, so please bear the shipping costs of this very large package in mind BEFORE you place a bid! Condition: good. The poster was never folded. It had some creases and scuffs scattered throughout. It had thumbtack holes in the borders and some scuffs in the lower part of Kelly's face and hair. Whoever owned this poster had it dry-mounted onto a stiff backing board, and did no restoration whatsoever. While it displays pretty well just as it is, I think that if I owned this great poster, I would have it removed from the board and paperbacked and restored. But please do not bid on this poster unless you have read the above carefully and can accept the poster's defects and that it is dry-mounted on a board. Learn More about condition grades
