An Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Alice White was an actress from the 1920s to the 1940s. She had reddish brown hair and Warner Bros. promoted her as another "Clara Bow". She didn't like the comparison and she dyed her hair blonde! She had a very messy private life including multiple abusive boyfriends and husbands, and she had a nervous breakdown in 1936. She attempted a comeback, but only had minor roles and other than a part in 1949's "Flamingo Road", she last acted on screen in 1942. Some of her movies include: The Show of Shows, Employees' Entrance, Show Girl in Hollywood, Jimmy the Gent, and Picture Snatcher. She passed away in 1983 at the age of 79.
