Kind of Thriller!"; "From a Novel by Eric Ambler"; based on the novel 'A Coffin for Dimitrios' by Eric Ambler) starring Sydney Greenstreet, Zachary Scott (in the title role as Dimitrios Makropoulos), Faye Emerson, Peter Lorre, Victor Francen, Eduardo Ciannelli, and Kurt Katch NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have sold several Japanese posters of American movies with a logo from the Motion Picture Export Association, and they have always been from either movies that were made during World War II, or from movies that were made between 1946 and 1948. We believe these posters all date from 1946 to 1948, and that they were used in Japan to show American servicemen stationed there American movies (and we imagine the local Japanese population went to these movies as well). The poster was folded like an American one-sheet, and there were extra slightly diagonal horizontal folds. There were creases and some tears on parts of some foldlines, but fortunately none in Lorre, Greenstreet, or Emerson's faces, although there are some tears in the hair of the man at center. There were creases, tears, and pinholes around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see slight signs of the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
