The Big Bus, the 1976 James Frawley public transportation bus traveling screwball comedy ("At Last - The First Disaster Movie Where Everybody Dies [laughing]"; "The Titanic...the San Francisco earthquake...and now for something really big...The first disaster movie where everybody dies [laughing]"; "The Bus Pilot: He burned rubber on the highway...but he didn't spin his wheels in bed."; "Hostess: Her eyes were on the Pilot. Her hands were on the controls. Or was it the other way around?"; "Bus Co-Pilot: If he had really passed his driver's test, why was he driving with a fishing license?"; "Fashion Designer: She had revenge in her heart, and a man's shoe in her purse. Why?"; "Priest: He had lost his faith...Would he find you-know-who on the Bus?"; "Old Lady: She had the spunk of a teenager and the mouth of a truck driver."; "Disbarred Veterinarian: He did more than talk to the animals..."; "Entertainer: he bombed in Vegas...and was about to be bombed on the Bus!"; "Terminal Traveler: He had six months to live-which is five months more than the Bus."; "Tormented Couple" Theirs was the sickest love story every told."; "Malpractice Doctor: They called him a doctor's doctor...because he had no patients"; "Professor: He was known as the Mother of the Nuclear Bus. Important Added Info: SUPER IMPORTANT! THIS LOT CONTAINS 15 STILLS, BUT ONLY EIGHT OF THE STILLS ARE PICTURED! THE HIGH BIDDER ON THIS LOT WILL RECEIVE 15 STILLS FROM THIS MOVIE, and NOT just the eight pictured! We realize there is an element of gambling to this, but we made no effort to find the best eight stills in the lot, and, if you have any willingness to gamble at all, you may find that you get some great stills that were not pictured! Please do NOT bid on this lot unless you can accept that you are only seeing eight of the stills. Note that a paper snipe was glued to the back of each still, and then folded over to the front. This was done rather than gluing the snipe to the back, so that the snipe could be unfolded and the still could be displayed with the snipe unfolded, which would let moviegoers read the information on the snipe in the lobby (and of course, the snipe would be folded backwards, so it would not show). This was done with many stills of the 1930s, but often, the snipes are either partially or completely lost, because it is easier for them to be torn off. UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED, THE SNIPES DO NOT HAVE ANY EFFECT ON THE FRONT OF THE STILLS! Note that these stills are printed on Kodak paper, but we believe them to surely be original stills. Sometimes, studios would run out of stills and have extras printed on Kodak stock.

Condition: very good to fine.
