An Original Vintage Folded World War II Poster (measures 28" x 40 1/4" [71 x 102 cm]) (Learn More) We Caught Hell, the 1944 U.S. World War II (WWII) Home Front poster ("Someone must have talked") warning about the dangers of revealing military information, and featuring Saul Tepper artwork of a U.S. soldier carrying a wounded comrade over his shoulder. Artist: Saul Tepper Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned two examples of this World War II poster, and only one in the last 9 years! One of those posters measured 28" wide as this one does, but that poster had even white borders on the left and right, which makes us think this poster was printed slightly off center, so that there is a very thin right white border, but that the poster is not trimmed. Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good. As noted above, we believe the poster was printed slightly off-center, resulting in the image being printed very close to a very thin white blank border. Sine this only affects the borders, we consider it a very minor defect, and otherwise the poster has the most minor of fold and border wear. Learn More about condition grades
