An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More)

Call of the Jungle, the 1944 Phil Rosen romantic crime mystery adventure melodrama starring Ann Corio, James Bush, Claudia Dell, John Davidson, and Eddy Chandler. Note that Ann Corio was a famous stripper at Minsky's Burlesque Theater in New York City. In 1940, she was said to have been paid $1,000 a week, plus a percentage of the gross! She appeared in a handful of movies in the early 1940s, and this was one of them.

Condition: poor to fair. There is much tattering and paper loss along the foldlines and edges of the poster with many crude paper and tape repairs on the back of the poster. Please do not bid on this poster unless you are willing to accept its defects or have it restored.
