And loving!"; "There's never anything wrong with a woman that a man's lips won't cure!"; "Laughs without a let-up! Love without a let-down!"; "Love makes a glamour girl turn rug-cutter!"; "A picture to remember as fondly as the first time someone whispered... 'I love you'!"; "The fun is furious... and so was the groom... when Melvyn kissed the bride!"; "From a story by Gina Kaus and Andrew P. Solt"; about a woman who inherits her father's trucking business, and she successfully runs it herself, and a reporter turns up who wants to run a negative story about her, but he ends up falling for her instead) starring Joan Crawford, Melvyn Douglas, Roland Young, Billie Burke, Allen Jenkins, Mary Treen, and Edward Gargan. Note that this was originally going to be titled "He Kissed the Bride", but was later changed to the title that we know today. Also note that this movie was supposed to star Carole Lombard, but she was killed in a plane crash just prior to the filming of the movie, and Crawford stepped in to replace her. This poster was well restored, but you can see signs of the restoration from inches away (since most people look at posters framed on a wall from at least a few feet away, we don't feel this is a defect, but we feel it should be noted). See below for this poster's pre-restoration condition (we are the only major auction company we know of that shares this information with our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). very good to fine.
