Date Sold 6/1/2010 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 8 Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (11x14; LCs; measure 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Let's Go Navy, the 1951 William Beaudine screwball comedy ("Avast, you landlubbers, MAN THE LAUGH-BOATS!") starring Leo Gorcey, Huntz Hally, The Bowery Boys (including William Benedict, Bernard Gorcey [as Louie Dambrowski], and Buddy Gorman), Allen Jenkins, Tom Neal, and Charlita. Note that Bernard Gorcey was star Leo Gorcey's father, and he played Louie, the owner of the Sweet Shop, where the boys frequently hung out, and Louie was often involved in slapstick gags, and many times Leo Gorcey would be tormenting or slapping his own father! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good. There is some discoloration throughout the cards. There are tack holes around the edges with some torn from rough removal. There is writing in the blank borders in some of the cards. Note that these lobby cards have no tape whatsoever on the front or back, and they have never had any restoration of any kind!
