Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (27" x 41") (Learn More)

Don't Tell the Wife, the 1937 Christy Cabanne Wall Street stock swindler con man romantic crime melodrama ("A hundred shares of preferred SHOCK!"; "The story of a Wall St. wolf who was bitten by a lamb!"; "Get in on this sure thing but... Don't Tell The Wife" ) starring Guy Kibbee, Una Merkel, Lynne Overman, Thurston Hall, Lucille Ball, and Guinn 'Big Boy' Williams. Note that this plot was largely re-used 12 years later in "Miss Grant Takes Richmond", and Lucille Ball, who had had a small role in this movie, played the lead in that partial re-make!

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: fine. poster has darkened very slightly with age; 1/4" of separation at the top and bottom crossfolds; 1/2" tear in the lower left edge of the poster; very minor creases along the foldlines; The above makes the poster sound worse than it actually is! The defects are very minor and the poster is still clean and the colors are vibrant. I imagine if one decided to linenback this poster, the defects would pretty much vanish and the poster would look wonderful!
