He acted from the 1950s to 2006 in many great movies including: The Sting, Cool Hand Luke (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Hustler (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Hud (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), The Color Of Money (winner of the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Nobody's Fool (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Verdict (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Cat On A Hot Tin Roof (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), and The Road To Perdition (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film). He passed away in 2008 at the age of 83. Important Added Info: Before studios would make 8x10 stills, they would take many hundreds of images, and print them out on 8x10 sheets, twelve to a page, and they would choose which ones would be used as actual 8x10s. Not many of these test shots were saved, and they are rarely offered for sale. Note that all of the test shots on this page are candids of Paul Newman! Note that this still measures 7 3/4" x 9 3/4" and has been personally autographed (signed) by actor Paul Newman! Note that this still (and the other autographed stills we are selling) came either from collectors who obtained them in person or who purchased them from reputable autograph dealers. I have no way of proving their authenticity, but I have examined them closely, and I feel certain these are all 100% authentic!
