Collins carnival sideshow romantic love triangle suicide tragedy melodrama (based on a play by William R. Doyle; about a dancer in a carnival who falls for a rich young playboy, but she unknowingly also becomes romantically involved with his father, and she commits suicide by jumping from a balloon high in the air!) starring Mary Nolan, William Janney, Ralf Harolde, Mae Busch, George Irving, and Claire McDowell. Note that this movie was made in both sound and silent versions. Also note that star Mary Nolan was a former Ziegfeld girl who was then known as "Bubbles Wilson", but she had a very troubled life, filled with scandal, and she retired from movies in 1932, and was later a drug addict, and died in 1948 at the age of 43, completely forgotten.
