A 1950 Re-Release (re-titled "Hell Town" for this re-release) Vintage Theatrical Folded Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36" [36 x 91 cm]) (Learn More) Born to the West, the 1937 Charles Barton cowboy western (based on the novel by Zane Grey) starring John Wayne, Marsha Hunt, Johnny Mack Brown, Monte Blue, Lucien Littlefield, and Nick Lukats. Note that the IMDb claims that there was a "clerical error" that resulted in Alan Ladd's name being added to the cast (as "Inspector"), but that he was not actually in the movie (he was in just a few movies at this time in very minor roles). Apparently, this clerical error was repeated in 1950, because when the movie was re-released that year (under the title of "Hell Town"), Alan Ladd's name appeared prominently in the credits! Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good. There is a 4" tear at center and there is tattering around the edges of the poster from rough removal of tacks (repaired with tape from the back and some marker from the front).
