If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have only auctioned two in all our years of auctioning and the last time was in 2016 and it sold for $626! Condition: fair. A theater needed to advertise a "free giveaway" that they were conducting at the theater and sadly they did not have a blank piece of paper, and instead they used red paint on the back of this poster to advertise their event. The red paint bleeds through to the front somewhat in the light-colored areas, which includes Bell's face. There is not bleed through in the letters of Bell's name or the title under it, because there was very little red paint on back of that area. The poster also has separation on parts of several folds and some tape on the back of part of the separation. This is the sort of poster that responds really well to restoration. Paint is easier to remove than ink, and there is a good chance that once a restorer removes the paint from the back, there will not be that much need for paint restoration on the front. However, we can't guarantee that, so bear all of the above in mind before bidding on this cool poster and look at our super-sized image. Learn More about condition grades
