An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) American Film Theatre Premier Season, the 1973 poster promoting the movies of the second half of the American Film Theatre's premier season ("You missed some good ones, but you don't have to miss them all."), including: Lost in the Stars, Rhino-ceros, Luther, Butley, and Three Sisters. Note that each of these movies was a filmed version of a Broadway play, but not simply a film version, but a full movie with added production values of each of the plays! While this was a wonderful idea, apparently it did not meet with a great success, because it was solely done in 1973 and 1974. How wonderful it would be if this had continued through to the present, and how much more wonderful would it have been had it been done all the way back into the 1920s! If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good. There is discoloration scattered in some areas of the poster from exposure to moisture.
