An Unfolded French Advertising Poster (measures 15 1/2" x 23 1/2" [39 x 60 cm]) (Learn More)

Favor was a French bicycle, moped & motorcycle manufacturer which was founded in 1898 by Guillaume Etienne. The company only made bicycles at first, but started production of motorcycles in 1921. Due to the turmoil experienced throughout the European motorcycle industry in the late 1950s as a result in the boom in small car sales, Favor ceased manufacture of motorcycles. Mopeds, motorized and regular bicycles remained in production until the company was closed in 1977.

Artist: Jacques Bellenger & Pierre Bellenger

Condition: good to very good. The poster once had thin metal rails along the upper and lower edges, but they have been removed leaving behind some tiny patches of discoloration in those areas (on blank paper). It is otherwise in pretty nice condition.
