The Sleeping Tiger, the 1954 Joseph Losey (blacklisted at the time and billed as "Victor Hanbury"!) English crime thriller ("A saint turned sinner!"; "Hidden deep within every woman is a Sleeping Tiger... When aroused it can turn a saint into a sinner!"; "Based on a novel by Maurice Moiseiwitsch") starring Alexis Smith, Alexander Knox, Dirk Bogarde, Hugh Griffith, Patricia McCarron and Maxine Audley. Note that this movie was released by Astor Pictures, a releasing studio that mostly did re-releases, but did a few first release movies (usually lower budget movies such as this one).

Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have only auctioned one in all our years of auctioning and that was in 2008 ! Note also that this is a "country of origin" poster for this English movie! Also note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 24 1/2" x 38 1/4" [62 x 97 cm]. Finally, note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good. The poster had large blank borders that have been trimmed (see our image). There are some pinholes around the remaining edges but the art is in pretty nice condition. Please bear in mind all of these things before bidding.
