Tennessee Williams' The Night of the Iguana, the classic 1964 John Huston religion road trip melodrama ("One man... Three women... One night..."; "Based on the Broadway play by Tennessee Williams"; about a defrocked priest on a bus touring Mexico with a group of very different women, and the priest is forced to confront the failures in his life that led him to where he is) starring Richard Burton, Ava Gardner, Deborah Kerr, Sue Lyon, Skip Ward (billed as "James Ward"), Grayson Hall (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), and Cyril Delevanti

Artist: Tal Stubis
Important Added Info: Note that the art on this poster is often incorrectly attributed to Saul Bass but it was actually designed by Bill Gold and illustrated by Tal Stubis! Also note that there is a purple background one-sheet and a pink background one-sheet, which are otherwise identical. I have seen both posters many times, and have even seen one theater that had both styles! I have no reason to believe either one is more "original" than the other. If anyone knows more about why there are two different color one-sheets that are otherwise identical, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: good to very good. The poster has crossfold and fold separation and some of those areas are backed with white tape. There is some paper loss at the top crossfold and there are creases along portions of the folds and edges. Please see our super-sized image to get a good sense of the condition of this item prior to placing a bid.
