An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Stone of Silver Creek, the 1935 Nick Grinde cowboy western ("From a story by H.H. Harris") starring Buck Jones (in the title role as T. William Stone), Noel Francis, Niles Welch, Perry Cambell, and Marian Shilling. Note that Buck Jones' white horse was named Silver (just like The Lone Ranger's later on!), and Silver made 73 movies with Buck Jones from 1922 until Jones' death in 1942 in the tragic Cocoanut Grove fire. But oddly, Silver was almost never billed on the posters for Buck Jones' movies as so many other famous horses (most especially Tom Mix's Tony) were! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still measures 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm]. Condition: very good to fine.
