She is probably best remembered for her role as Frieda on the TV's "Evening Shade". Some of her movies include: Another World, Coma, Ship of Fools, and The Carpetbaggers (where she met future husband George Peppard). She played "Maggie the Cat" in a stage revival of "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof". As of 2024, she is still alive at the age of 84! Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Elizabeth Ashley! Also note that this still measures 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm]. The consignor of this autographed item (and a large number of other signed items in this auction) is a longtime autograph collector who does not have a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) for this item, but he feels certain it is genuine. Many of the items he has consigned were purchased from an autograph store that was going out of business when the owner retired, and many of the items he has consigned to this set of auctions come from this purchase.
