Song of the Thin Man, the 1947 Edward Buzzell New York City detective mystery crime comedy sequel ("William Powell and Myrna Loy and me too. We're all together again in a NEW MGM mystery comedy!"; "Together again in a NEW mystery comedy!"; "Story by Stanley Roberts"; "Based on characters created by Dashiel Hammett"; one of the very popular "Thin Man" movies) starring William Powell (as Nick Charles), Myrna Loy (as Nora Charles), Keenan Wynn, Dean Stockwell (as Nick Jr.), Philip Reed, Gloria Grahame (in her sixth movie role!), Patricia Morison, Marie Windsor, Jayne Meadows, Ralph Morgan, Leon Ames, and Asta Jr. (the wire-haired fox terrier dog!)

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that we have only auctioned one example of this poster before and that was 27 years ago! Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good. The poster has tears of varying lengths around the edges (one is large at lower right) and there are pieces of yellowed tape covering those tears (see our image). It has staining at upper right that slightly enters the image of Powell, and there is lesser discoloration at lower right. It has several light and fine creases scattered throughout as well as a few faint smudges. Fortunately the ultra rare poster is otherwise "mostly all there" and after proper restoration it will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
