An Original 1927 (from the first release of this movie in Argentina) Vintage Theatrical Folded Argentinean Movie Poster (measures 14 1/2" x 29 1/4" [37 x 74 cm]) (Learn More) The Charmer, the 1925 Sidney Olcott silent Spain New York City romantic love triangle comedy melodrama ("A gay, dazzling entertainment without a sad moment!"; "From the Novel 'Maridosa' By Henry Baerlein"; about an exotic Spanish dancer who drives men crazy, and a rich man brings her to New York, and she has a rich suitor and his chauffeur, and both men love her, and there is a jealous woman who wants the rich man, and will stop at nothing to get him) starring Pola Negri ("in her first great comedy role"), Wallace MacDonald, Robert Frazer, Trixie Friganza, and Cesare Gravina. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. We have only previously auctioned two lobby cards, two heralds, a glass slide, and a few stills from this movie (and NO other movie paper of any kind) until we received this one-sheet! Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good. The poster has some creases on the folds and pinholes in the corners. It has some tiny tears and tiny bits of paper loss in the lower left border and a few faint brown stains in the right border.
