Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More)

The Man in the Saddle, the 1926 Lynn Reynolds & Clifford Smith silent cowboy western ("Story by Charles Logue") starring Hoot Gibson, Charles Hill Mailes, Clark Comstock, Fay Wray, and Sally Long. Note that fourth-billed Fay Wray appeared in lots of shorts in 1925 and 1926, but it appears that this is only her second feature movie, and she was only 18 years old! Also, note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.

Important Added Info: Note that this is a hand-colored card. In the days of silent movie prior to the invention of good quality full-color printing, studios would have lobby cards printed in black and white and then amazingly would hire women to hand-color the cards one at a time (apparently labor was very cheap at the time)! So, each card is colored slightly differently, and the coloring is never a perfect match.

Condition: very good. There are minor creases and smudges around the borders. There was a 3" tear in the bottom center of the card that was repaired with tape from the back.
