A 4 1/2" x 5 3/4" [11 x 15 cm] Autograph Book Page (signed on both sides) (Learn More) Charles Boyer was a French actor from the 1920s to the 1990s. He was a college graduate with a philosophy degree, and he appeared in a few movies in his early 20s. He had greater success in talking movies, thanks to his distinctive French accent (which Chuck Jones "borrowed" for his character Pepe Le Pew), but he had his greatest success in Hollywood in the early 1940s, when many of the top U.S. stars were away in World War II. Some of his movies include: Gaslight, Algiers, All This and Heaven Too, and Love Affair AND Randolph Scott was an actor from the 1920s to the 1960s who played a wide variety of roles in the 1920s and 1930s, but who, late in his career, starred mostly in cowboy western movies. Some of his movies include: Seven Men From now, Ride the High Country, My Favorite Wife, The Tall T, and Ride Lonesome Important Added Info: This cut album page has been personally autographed (signed) by BOTH Charles Boyer AND Randolph Scott (it has one signature on each side). Once you would choose which side you wanted to display, it could be matted with a vintage or repro still and framed together to make a cool display! There is a different signature on each side of the page, so we have provided an image of each side, and please realize that the winner of this auction will receive ONE autograph book page that was signed on both sides! Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who has been a major movie memorabilia collector and dealer from the 1970s on. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both dealers and collectors, and in some of those collections he purchased autographed items. Both we and our consignor feel it is quite likely that the autograph on this item is authentic, but he does not have a certificate of authenticity (unless noted above). Condition: good to very good. The side of the page with Boyer's autograph has an image of him glued to it and that shows through to the other side (see our images). Learn More about condition grades
