An Original Vintage Magazine (measures 5" x 7 1/2" [13 x 19 cm]) (Learn More) TV Guide, the television magazine ("Alphabetical Index To All Shows") which listed a complete guide to all the TV shows on all the stations in your local area, along with some illustrated articles about then-current shows or stars. They had to publish a different edition for each area, because the TV channels were different in each area (most of the magazine would be the same, but the listings would vary from area to area). Each year they published a special "fall preview" issue, which everybody looked forward to, because in those pre-Internet days, it was one of the best ways to learn what new shows were being added and what old ones had been canceled! For decades, this magazine was in many millions of houses each week, but like so many other companies, it was put out of business by the "guides" that were added to TV screens after cable TV became prevalent! The company was purchased for over a billion dollars in the late 2000s, and an interactive version was created. Important Added Info: Note that we have provided a picture of the front cover of the magazine, and pictures of interior two-page spreads (including the table of contents page if there is one; but we didn't make much effort to find the best ones!).
