An Original Vintage Theatrical 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Frances Farmer was a legendary actress of the 1930s, partly for her great beauty and acting talent, and partly due to her great personal troubles, which resulted in her being institutionalized. A few years ago, I was informed by researcher Jeffrey Kauffman that the story of her being lobotomized is actually an urban legend! This myth was spread in a book and movie of Farmer's life, and it will be difficult to ever convince people that it is not true. In any event, Farmer was an extremely beautiful and talented actress, and original movie posters and lobby cards from her movies are highly sought after by collectors, but few are ever offered for sale! Some of her movies include: Come and Get It, Son of Fury: The Story of Benjamin Blake, The Toast of New York, Flowing Gold, and Rhythm on the Range. She passed away in 1970 at the age of 56. Important Added Info: Note that this still measures 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm]. Condition: very good. Learn More about condition grades
