Note that it is difficult to accurately date Italian posters, and some unmarked re-release posters can be extremely difficult to distinguish from first releases, so please bear that in mind before you place a bid. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The poster had small paper loss at the crossfolds and many tears and tiny areas of paper loss on the foldlines, with many pinholes and stains around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. Someone backed it many years ago and performed restoration to the foldlines, but left the borders completely alone. The restoration paint has aged differently than the rest of the poster, so it is more noticeable now that it was when the poster was backed. If I owned this really cool and extremely rare poster, I would surely have it professionally re-backed, and after proper restoration, it will look great! Learn More about condition grades
