An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Allan Jones was an actor and singer from the 1930s to the 1970s. Some of his best remembered movies include: A Night at the Opera, A Day at the Races, and Show Boat. He was married to actress Irene Hervey and together their son Jack Jones became a very successful singer on TV. Note that there is a wonderful video on YouTube of Allan Jones and his son Jack Jones performing an updated version of the duet, "I Remember It Well", and it is really worth watching! He passed away in 1992 at the age of 84. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Allan Jones! Note that this still is from the collection of Robert J. Fieth. He was born in 1923, and as a teenager, he began writing to celebrities in the 1940s, and continued to do so over several decades, acquiring a collection of over 500 autographed photos (many of which are personalized to him, either as "To Robert J. Fieth", or "To Robert", or "To Bob"). We have been consigned a number of signed photos from this collection, the majority of which were obtained in the 1940s or 1950s! Condition: good to very good.
